What documentation do I need to open an account?

Be ready to make account opening quick and easy by having these documents on hand:

  • Tax Identification Number
  • Social Security Number
  • Driver’s License or Passport
  • Secondary ID for all signers
  • Certified copy of Articles of Organization or Operating Agreement
  • Trade Name Registration (for DBAs)
  • Certification and valid photo ID for all Beneficial Owners
Am I eligible to open a business account?

You are eligible if your business address is within a 50-mile radius from any Andrews Federal location. View our locations here.

What type of business services do you offer?

We offer several business service solutions including, business savings accounts, business checking accounts, business lines of credit, business signature loans, commercial vehicle loans, and commercial mortgages. 

Is there a limit to the number of transactions from my Savings account each month?

Generally, no. However, we do reserve the right to limit the amount, type or frequency of withdrawals or transfers from any of your accounts. If we do impose such a limit, we will disclose such in our Truth in Savings disclosure, and/or at the time you attempt to make your withdrawal or transfer.

Is my money protected at Andrews Federal?

Yes, similar to the way that FDIC insurance protects bank customers' deposits, the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) protects credit union member deposits up to $250,000 for each individual depositor. For additional information about NCUA's share insurance, visit mycreditunion.gov.
