About Select Employee Groups

Is there a cost to become a Select Employee Group?

Becoming a Select Employee Group is a no-cost benefit that organizations can offer their employees and members. It is free and the process is simple. Our business relations team can walk you through and quickly get you on your way to becoming a SEG. Then, you can offer your people all the benefits of credit union membership.

How does credit union membership benefit my employees?

Andrews Federal members save an average of $270 annually through higher earnings, lower loan rates and lower fees. Members who use more services often save even more, averaging $1,372 in financial benefits annually. Unlocking these savings for your team puts more money in their wallets and helps their paychecks stretch further. You also give your team access to helpful financial guidance, from Andrews Federal branch teams, lending experts and financial advisors. In addition, our team can provide on-site financial education programs and resources, so your people are better equipped to manage their finances and reach their goals.

Can my business/organization become a Select Employee Group?

If you are interested in becoming an SEG, reach out to us directly. Our team can work with you to submit a SEG application letter and ensure your team members are able to access the money-saving benefits of Andrews Federal membership.

Why does Andrews Federal have Select Employee Groups?

To join a credit union, you must share a common bond with other members in the group. Andrews Federal was originally created to serve military personnel at Joint Base Andrews. Today, through Select Employee Groups, we can make the benefits of Andrews Federal membership available to businesses and organizations across Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and New Jersey.
